Sail training ships crewed by young people aged 15-25 from all over the world gather for the Tall Ships Race. The fleet ranges from the largest square-rigged vessels to smaller boats - traditional and modern.
You race at sea all day and all night for about a week, and then party in the finish port, which always lays on a great welcome. Challenge and celebration!
Always an unforgettable experience.
Arhus (Denmark) - Helsinki (Finland) - Riga (Latvia) - Szczecin (Poland), plus some exciting adventure voyages to get the vessel out to and back from the Baltic, via Cuxhaven (Germany) and the Kiel Canal.
Unfortunately, even though we are a not for profit charity, we have to charge for crew berths , but at £60 pppd we are the cheapest and will help you raise the money. See costs here.
Why race on Leila?
- We offer the lowest cost per day
- With a smaller boat, you get to be more involved
- With her age and grace, she will be a centre of attraction at the festival.
Older than 25? You can also be part of the adventure on the cruise in company or delivery voyages to and from the Baltic.
We take both male and female crew, and no previous sailing experience is required - all we ask is that you bring enthusiasm, a willingness to join in, learn new skills and work together with the rest of the crew - and a will to win!.
