We brief how to ameliorate sea sickness and offer pills. We care for sufferers, and sail appropriately.

The heads and galley are cleaned daily and deep cleaned weekly. Health and hygiene recommendations are followed..

Accidents with the rigging

Crew are trained in the proper handling of ropes and excluded from the bow and stern. Gybes are made safely and boom preventers used when necessary.

Leaders should monitor their crew on deck.

Asphyxiation

Staff and crew

The ventilator should be open, except when the deck is awash. The fore hatch should be open in port. Care must be taken with the cooker when the main hatch is closed.

Leaders and staff should monitor ventilation levels through the boat.
